++++  Quick Coherence  Technique

Patrice Rancour, a nurse with Ohio State University Integrative Medicine, visited with us at our November 2017 meeting. She spoke about integrative medicine's benefits to emotional and physical health, including methods to decrease stress. Why limit and decrease stress? Stress increases inflammation, which exacerbates autoimmune disease symptoms (and for some, physical pain). Experiencing less stress may limit life-changing or life-threatening symptoms of Myasthenia Gravis and other autoimmune diseases.

She demonstrated a “Quick Coherence” technique called "HeartMath" and encouraged everyone to spend a few minutes each day using this -- or a similar technique -- to re-center ourselves and de-stress.
